Watch strap Review | Nomad Watch Works

Over my watch collecting journey, I’m always on the hunt for a good watch strap to accompany my watch faces. I’ve never been a fan of bracelet straps, but as a result, in my quest for leather straps, l came across Nomad watch work straps, which I have to say has been a pleasant surprise and treat.

This week, we’re reviewing some of Nomad watch works straps.

Receiving the package

Shipping of the strap took about a week to deliver. In the package, each strap was packed individually in a Nomad watch works brown paper envelope, a cleaning cloth and a spring bar tool. I guess you get the cleaning cloths and a nicely designed spring bar tool when you order 3 or 5 sets of their straps. Let’s take a look at the strap one by one.

First up is my favourite, the rally strap comes in 6 variant colour. we have the darker shade brown paired with the Raven venture for this review. From a glance you could, this is a well-made strap and the feeling of the strap sums up to the genuine leather stamp which was used in the production of this strap. As we’re getting into the autumn weather, this will be a great choice to wear both casually or to the office.

A very nice strap for a dress watch, made from real vegetable tanned leather, featuring a detail stitch and well-padded design for comfort. Comes in a different shade of brown, more of a rich tone brown, to make the watch stand out, we paired the strap with the Seiko sbdc053. The quality of this is just so phenomenal, it’s a strap that gets better with age just like a vintage wine. Length – 75mm and 120mm Thickness – 3.5mm.

We went for the black ISO rubber strap, as l wanted to try one out, perfect for sports and diver watch. We paired it with a Seiko Padi blue dial watch. it’s really beautiful. Made from high quality, durable silicon yet maintaining its softness, able to take the punishment of everyday wear. Love the smooth texture of the rubber used. Its been a pleasure wearing it. Length – 75mm and 120mm Thickness – 3.5mm.

This is something new but interesting, kudos to Nomad watch works for thinking of this idea. To see the batik fabric used in the making of the watch strap. Made from high-quality batik and padded for extra comfortability, also features a leather lining. I love the funky style to this strap. This would look great for summer or if you’re planning on going on holiday. This strap will not disappoint one bit.

As the name suggests, this strap is made using distressed leather, giving it an aged effect. Features a bold contrast stitching with a quick release spring bar. From the quality of the leather used, this strap can only get better with wear. Ideal for modern sports watches and chronographs.
